Suprisingly, the muture of land transport may be more outrageous than any of the other forms. In 2012, intrapreneur and inventor Elon Musk informed the world that he had been designing a fith mode of transport. It was a cross between a train and a hockey table, he called it the "Hyperloop."

The hyperloop system works by sending a magnetic levitating train, through a vacuum sealed tube, faster than the speed of sound. Prototypes are already being produced for testing, the biggest issue facing this project is how to stop the train.
